BONUS QUESTION:
How does the user know the images are clickable? How would the
BORDER=0 attribute in the <IMG> tag
affect this?
Clickable images are apparent when the cursor turns into a pointing hand icon. Sometimes using
JAVA the images changes color, for example, at
this site,
viewing it with Microsoft Internet Explorer, the car turns yellow (from white) just
as the cursor touches it (without even clicking the image.)
When BORDER=0, it means that the table lines are invisible. If there are no borders
around the image, the user can still identify clickable images because of the
pointing hand cursor. Furthermore, the LINK, VLINK and ALINK
colors selected can help make a color
border if the colors are contrasted against the images.
